Illan Meslier, a French goalkeeper who has been indispensable at Leeds for the past five seasons, is expected to join Fenerbahçe. Meslier has played three seasons in the Premier League and two in the Championship, recently helping Leeds secure promotion back to the elite. Turkish journalist Aygun Ozipek reported that Meslier is set to replace Dominik Livaković, who has been released from his contract with Fenerbahçe. The club is anticipating Meslier's arrival in Istanbul by the end of the week. Livaković, who was bought by Fenerbahçe from Dinamo for 6.7 million euros two years ago, is leaving as part of the club's strategy to offload expensive players after failing to meet key objectives.
