Getafe is in advanced negotiations with Villarreal for 21-year-old Moroccan international winger Ilias Akhomach, who is reportedly seeking more playing time after starting in only three of the 15 games he has played this season. While Getafe appears to be the main team pursuing him, several other teams, including Alavés, have also contacted Villarreal to express their interest. Villarreal plans to wait until Akhomach, whose contract expires in 2027, returns from the Africa Cup of Nations before making a final decision on his future. The winger has 11 caps for Morocco and joined Villarreal in July 2023. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €12.00m.
