According to Matteo Moretto, an offer from Leverkusen to loan Ilaix Moriba with an obligation to buy was rejected by Celta.

Bayer Leverkusen was pursuing 23-year-old central midfielder Ilaix Moriba and hoped to involve Robert Andrich in a potential deal. The top Bundesliga club's pursuit was unsuccessful because Celta de Vigo are no longer willing to let the midfielder depart. Celta de Vigo's asking price was reportedly around €20 million, and Moriba also attracted interest from clubs including Aston Villa, Beşiktaş, and Ajax.
