According to Sport.ua, 26-year-old Ukrainian centre-back Ihor Snurnitsyn from Metalist 1925 is one of several potential candidates to join Chornomorets. Chornomorets are seeking new players after securing promotion to the UPL. The club must first resolve a transfer ban that was implemented in the spring before they can register new footballers. Snurnitsyn, who has prior experience in the Premier League with other teams, is reportedly one of three players from the Kharkiv club being considered, alongside fellow defender Vasyl Kravets and midfielder Vladlen Yurchenko. The former Ukraine U21 international has 4 caps for the team. He joined Metalist 1925 in August 2024 and has a contract until June 2026, with a current Transfermarkt market value of €300k.
