Partizan are in the final phase of negotiations with Saint-Étienne to sign 21-year-old Serbian midfielder Igor Miladinović on a one-year loan that includes an option to buy next summer. Discussions between the clubs have been taking place for several days, with only the final details left to be settled. It is reported that those at Partizan expect the deal to be concluded soon. Partizan began talks after Saint-Étienne's new coach, Jan Katro, did not take Miladinović to pre-season preparations. Miladinović arrived from Čukarički in the summer of 2024 for approximately three million euros after being named the best young player in the Serbian Superliga for the 2023/24 season. Miladinović is a Serbia U21 international with seven caps and his contract with Saint-Étienne runs until 2028. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 3 appearances in Ligue 1 and 26 in Ligue 2. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m.
