Igor Coronado Transfer from Corinthians to Al Sharjah
Igor Coronado was announced by Sharjah on July 4, 2025, signing a contract that is valid for two seasons. Before this move, Coronado had managed to reach an agreement to part ways with Corinthians, a club that reportedly owed him around R$ 10 million. The financial settlement included the payment of R$ 8 million in overdue signing bonuses and R$ 1.8 million in delayed commission to his agent, Rafael Brandino. Despite the official announcement of his transfer, Coronado is still listed as a player for Corinthians on the club's official website. This transfer marks his second period at Al Sharjah, as he previously played for them between 2018 and 2021 before transferring to Al Ittihad. Coronado reportedly sought the termination of his contract with Corinthians due to limited playing opportunities at the club.
