Igor Brzyski Transfer from Pogoń Szczecin to Lechia Gdańsk
According to a report by Maciej Słomiński from Trójmiasto.pl, Lechia Gdańsk considered bringing back their academy graduate Igor Brzyski, a 19-year-old Polish defensive midfielder, from Pogoń Szczecin. Paolo Urfer ultimately decided to reinforce the squad in another way and did not proceed with the move for Igor Brzyski. A previous transfer involving Axel Holewiński made a second reinforcement from the same club difficult. Maciej Słomiński stated that there was a topic of Igor Brzyski returning to Lechia Gdańsk, that Paolo Urfer chose to secure that position differently, and that there had already been one transfer from Szczecin. Brzyski joined Pogoń in February 2026, has a contract with the club until June 30, 2028, and has been capped 5 times for the Poland U18 national team.
