Igor Júlio underwent medical examinations in London on Monday, the last day of the transfer window in various European leagues. He was close to reaching an agreement with Crystal Palace, but West Ham intervened in the negotiation and secured the Brazilian.

Transfermarkt reports on the imminent transfer of Brighton centre-back Igor to Crystal Palace. Brighton centre-back Igor is set to cross the 'm23 derby' line and join rivals Crystal Palace from Brighton, with the Brazilian reportedly currently doing his medical with the Eagles.

Oliver Glasner’s side have reached an agreement with Brighton over the loan of defender Igor Julio. The deal has an option-to-buy clause at the end of the season. Crystal Palace appear to have beaten West Ham to the transfer of the 27-year-old, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €20.5m.

Crystal Palace are interested in signing Igor Julio from Brighton. Brighton are open to selling him, having signed him two years ago from Fiorentina. Igor only featured 16 times across all competitions last season. There is competition from Leeds, Wolves, and Real Sociedad for the 27-year-old defender. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 20 million euros.
