Horațiu Moldovan, a 28-year-old Romanian goalkeeper, is being closely monitored by Pendikspor from the Turkish second division. Moldovan is not in Atlético de Madrid's plans and is looking for a new team where he can play regularly. This search follows a previous season at Real Oviedo with little activity, during which he made just two league appearances. The goalkeeper has 16 caps for Romania. His contract with Atlético de Madrid runs until June 2027, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.80m. The Turkish club is interested in a possible transfer; however, the Turkish second division is not considered the most appealing option for the player, who would prefer a higher-tier league. Other interested clubs include Qarabağ from Azerbaijan, Wieczysta from Poland, and Omonia from Cyprus.
