Heung-min Son  Transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Los Angeles FC

Los Angeles FC is showing concrete interest in signing Heung-min Son. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Californian club has made an initial offer to the 33-year-old. Son is under contract with Tottenham Hotspur until next summer. Tottenham is willing to let Son decide whether to join the MLS team. New coach Thomas Frank, who is expected to have a decisive conversation about Son's future soon, does not consider the South Korean (134 international caps) part of his plans due to Son's age.

LAFC is reportedly in negotiations to acquire Heung-Min Son, as reported by The Athletic. The club is making significant efforts to secure Son's transfer this summer. Entering the last year of his contract, Son is not considered a key starter by the new manager, Thomas Frank. LAFC is hopeful about bringing Son to the United States, viewing this summer as the final opportunity for Tottenham to gain a transfer fee for him. At LAFC, Son would be assured a starting position, which aligns with his aspirations ahead of the 2026 World Cup in North America. With a market valuation of €20 million, Son would rank among the most valuable players in MLS, and his acquisition would notably enhance LAFC's market presence. Transfermarkt has currently assessed his market worth at €20 million.
