Hendrik Bonmann, a 32-year-old German goalkeeper, was close to a transfer to Italy. Ludogorets and the Italian club were in advanced negotiations, but the team from Italy withdrew at the final stage. Ludogorets believed the deal would be successfully finalized and therefore brought in Ivo Grbic. Ivo Grbic's contract with the Bulgarian club runs until 30/06/2027 and his market value is €750k, according to Transfermarkt. Hendrik Bonmann has also been linked with Red Bull Salzburg.
