Heitor Marinho dos Santos has joined Újpest FC from Maccabi Tel-Aviv on a loan agreement for the full season. The deal includes an option for Újpest FC to buy Heitor permanently.

Újpest is working on signing Heitor, a 26-year-old Brazilian centre-back currently with Maccabi Tel Aviv, on what is expected to be a loan deal. Heitor transferred to the Israeli club from ETO FC last summer for a club-record fee. He has played in 35 competitive matches across all competitions for Maccabi Tel Aviv. His contract with the club is set to expire on June 30, 2028, and his current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €550k.
