Hector Fort leaving FC Barcelona?

Héctor Fort, despite limited playtime, has been approached by PSV Eindhoven. However, he has decided not to follow up on this interest as he aims to gain the trust of FC Barcelona's coach Hans-Dieter Flick. He is contracted until June 2029.

PSV Eindhoven is showing serious interest in Hector Fort, an eighteen-year-old Spanish defender from FC Barcelona. Fort's future at Barça is uncertain as he doesn't seem to be in the plans of coach Hansi Flick, who prefers Eric García as a replacement for the injured Jules Koundé. Fort has a contract with Barcelona until mid-2026. PSV has not yet made an official proposal but has been following the young right-back for months. They are urgently searching for a stand-in for Sergiño Dest due to the departure of Richard Ledezma and Rick Karsdorp.

Héctor Fort is on FC Barcelona's internal list of players available for transfer, as the club aims to generate income for new acquisitions. There is interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia to pay above market value.

Hector Fort is expected to leave Barcelona in June because he hasn't proven to be a reliable backup at the level of Koundé. The club is already looking for other right-backs, such as Dodo.

The Italian team Côme made an offer of 8 million euros to FC Barcelona for their young right-back, Héctor Fort. However, the proposal was declined at the player's request. Héctor, who was formed at the Catalan club, wishes to climb the ranks at FC Barcelona. This season, he has managed to integrate into Hansi Flick's rotation, participating in 11 La Liga matches.

Barcelona are trying to send right-back Hector Fort out on loan in January. He is firmly behind Jules Kounde in the right-back pecking order.

If Marc Pubill joins FC Barcelona, Héctor Fort, who has not convinced Hansi Flick for a place in the first team, will be loaned out to gain more playing time and not hinder his development.
