Volos has announced the signing of 25-year-old Moroccan central defender Hatim Es-Saoubi on a one-year loan from Gent. Es-Saoubi passed the required medical and ergometric tests before signing his new contract. The defender, who has one cap for Morocco's U-23 team and previously played for Moroccan champions Rabat, made 10 appearances for Gent last season. He is expected to be present for the team's first gathering next Monday. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €800k.
