Harry Stone Transfer from Hearts to Airdrieonians

Airdrie's newly-appointed manager, Aaron Taylor-Sinclair, has made his first signing of the January window, signing 23-year-old Scottish goalkeeper Harry Stone from Premiership leaders Hearts for the remainder of the season. The signing occurred as fellow goalkeeper Matty Connelly's loan deal from Motherwell expired. Goalkeeping coach David Hutton said that Stone has trained with top goalkeepers at Hearts and has experience playing at this level, so he should integrate without issue. Hutton also described Stone as a good all-round goalkeeper who will add a commanding presence. Speaking to airdriefc.com, Stone stated he was excited to join, noting that he knows the club and some of the players and is looking forward to being part of their attractive style of play. Airdrie thanked Shelley Kerr and Heart of Midlothian for their assistance in facilitating the deal and confirmed that Stone will be included in the squad for Saturday’s match against Raith Rovers. Stone's contract at Hearts is due to expire in May 2026 and his market value is rated at €50k by Transfermarkt.
