Manchester City are one of several leading sides, reportedly including Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Newcastle, looking to sign English forward Harry Gray from Leeds United. As the 16-year-old is still an apprentice, clubs can recruit him outside of the regular transfer windows. However, sources understand Leeds are confident Gray will stay at Elland Road, with the club planning to sign him to his first professional contract when he turns 17 in October. Transfer insider Graeme Bailey stated that Manchester City are among the clubs interested in Gray and also reported that Leeds believes the player will sign the contract.
