Pete O’Rourke reports that Rotherham is one of several clubs to have made an offer for Wrexham midfielder Harry Ashfield, and that Peterborough, Barnsley, Gillingham and St Mirren have also submitted bids. The 20-year-old Welsh midfielder is a Wales U21 international. It is reported that he is keen to leave Wrexham because he feels his opportunities for progression at the club are limited. Ashfield joined Wrexham in July 2024 and his contract is set to expire in 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €150k.
