According to reports in Morocco, Hamza Mendyl is returning to his homeland and will sign a one-year contract with Wydad Casablanca. Moroccan media state that Wydad Casablanca has completed the transfer of the left-back from Aris. The club's management is working on its debts, for which it has been sanctioned by FIFA, in order to release and register the player.

Hamza Mendyl is also targeted by clubs from the Gulf region. However, Aris has no intention to sell him and denies any discussions about his transfer.
