Haji Wright Transfer from Coventry City to Beşiktaş
Haji Wright has received interest from other clubs, and it is said that Premier League team West Ham United and Turkish club Beşiktaş are both keen on the 27-year-old United States striker. Wright became Coventry's record signing when he moved from Antalyaspor in the summer of 2023 for a £7.7 million fee. The forward has 20 caps and 7 goals for his country and has scored 8 goals in 19 Championship appearances this season. Coventry will reject any offers received for the player next month, as the club is unwilling to sell him in January. His contract runs until June 2027. In December 2025, reports indicated Coventry City quoted a not for sale price of approximately £200 million to West Ham. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €12.00m. According to Capology, Wright's estimated wages are £25,000-a-week.
