Volos officially announced the acquisition of 25-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder Gustavo Furtado on loan from Krasnodar, in a deal which includes a purchase option. Furtado, who has previous experience in Greek football with Lamia and Panathinaikos B', passed the required medical and ergometric examinations before signing his new contract. He subsequently joined the rest of the team in Portaria. During the previous season, Furtado made 14 appearances for Krasnodar before being loaned to Sochi for the second half of the championship, for whom he played 6 times.
