Gustavo Ferrareis is on the verge of transferring from Puebla to Atlas for a fresh opportunity in Liga MX, as reported by Argentine journalist César Luis Merlo. Having been a consistent presence for Puebla, Ferrareis has participated in 149 matches, scoring six goals and providing nine assists. Puebla has been aiming to sell several players, and Ferrareis is among them. The 29-year-old Brazilian midfielder will be joining Atlas under the leadership of Gonzalo Pineda. Atlas, also known as the Rojinegros, concluded the Clausura 2025 in 14th place with 18 points and is seeking to enhance their team by acquiring Ferrareis. Before moving to Mexico in 2021, Ferrareis played for clubs such as Inter de Porto Alegre, Botafogo, Bahia, and Figueirense.
