Malmö FF has reportedly made initial contact regarding a transfer, while Al Wasl is preparing a bid. The UAE club is said to be ready to offer Lundgren a contract worth a multi-million amount annually after tax. However, Gais are reportedly not willing to sell the player, who has a contract until 2029, and will only release him for an offer that is described as exceptionally good. Lundgren, who joined GAIS in January 2022, has one cap and one goal for Sweden. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.30m.
