Guga has been proposed to Inter, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The club are considering Guga as an option for the right flank after the departure of Dumfries to Real Madrid and after missing out on Palestra, who is set to join Chelsea. Inter are also considering the Brazilian player Wesley.

As Inter consider other options for a right-sided player after a deal for another target was not completed, Guga has been recently proposed to the club. The 1998-born Fluminense player, who holds a Portuguese passport, was offered to the Nerazzurri. Guga, who joined Fluminense in January 2023, is a former Brazil U23 international with 13 caps and one goal. In the current 2025/2026 season, he has made a total of 19 appearances and provided 3 assists across Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Campeonato Carioca. His contract with the Brazilian club is valid until the end of 2029, and his current market value according to Transfermarkt is €2.00m.
