Willem II showed interest in Gjivai Zechiël in January. However, Sparta seems to be his temporary new employer now.

Gjivai Zechiël was considered to join Willem II on loan this winter. However, Feyenoord did not cooperate with the transfer. Trainer Peter Maes of Willem II stated, "We showed interest four weeks ago, I think, but then he was not allowed to leave. Then we looked for another option." Zechiël is under contract with Feyenoord until 2028.

Willem II is attempting to secure a loan deal for Gjivai Zechiël from Feyenoord. The loan period might be negotiable due to the imminent transfer of Jakub Moder.
