According to Tuttomercato, Modena has renewed interest in Giuseppe Aurelio after his good season at Spezia. While an initial agreement was reached with former Spezia sporting director Stefano Melissano, the situation has been altered by changes in Spezia's management. Nereo Bonato, Modena's new director, is interested in Aurelio. Spezia's requested fee is reported to be just over one million euros. The final decision will be made by the player and Spezia's new director, Guido Angelozzi.

According to Tuttomercato, Modena is in the most advanced negotiation for Giuseppe Aurelio and is offering 1.2 million euros.

Giuseppe Aurelio's agent has recently been in contact with Modena, which could offer the 26-year-old Italian a three-year contract. The Spezia player, who scored seven goals in 35 appearances, has also attracted interest from Serie A clubs Frosinone and Lecce, as well as Lech Poznan in Poland. According to Il Secolo XIX, Spezia's valuation of the player is around one million euros. Aurelio joined Spezia in July 2025 and is under contract until June 2028. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €600k.
