The Daily Record has reported Cremonese's interest in the Celtic target Giuseppe Ambrosino. The Serie A newcomers have expressed their interest in Ambrosino, who is reportedly also on Celtic's radar. According to Cremonese's sporting director, Simone Giacchetta, Ambrosino is among several players from Napoli that the club is actively pursuing, following their promotion to Serie A through the second-tier play-offs last season. Giacchetta indicated that the club is interested in many young players and believes Ambrosino warrants close attention. Recently, Ambrosino made an impression at the U21 European Championships in Slovakia by scoring for Italy U21s in their quarter-final match against Germany. Although he is not yet a leading goalscorer, Giacchetta noted Ambrosino's intriguing qualities and confirmed that the club has inquired about Napoli's willingness to sell, as they are focused on building a competitive team to ensure their survival in Serie A.
