According to Tuttomercato, Giovanni Daffara is currently on loan at Avellino from Juventus. As per their agreement, Avellino has an option to purchase him for a fee of around 500,000 euros. Avellino appears inclined to activate this option or to request a loan extension for another season. Juventus, however, holds a counter-option to re-sign the player for approximately 1 million euros. The Turin-based club is reportedly considering bringing Daffara back to be their second-choice goalkeeper next season. This situation could allow Avellino to make a significant profit.
