Benevento has completed the permanent transfer of Italian centre-back Giovanni Castaldi from Foggia. There was significant competition for the left-footed defender, who was born in 2007. Castaldi has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract that is valid until 2028 and will be loaned to Nocerina in Serie D. This season, he has made two appearances for Foggia in Serie C - C. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €50k.
