Giovane Transfer from Hellas Verona to Inter
Inter has reportedly shifted its focus to younger, more sustainable profiles, and among the names being followed is Giovane Santana do Nascimento, known as Giovane. The 2003-born Brazilian centre-forward is a former Corinthians player who plays for Verona under Paolo Zanetti and scored his first goal of the season against the Nerazzurri. Inter's Cristian Chivu is showing interest, and Giovane has stated that Chivu complimented him on his performance after their match. According to Tuttosport, these mutual signs of appreciation could become more concrete in the coming months. The publication also reports that Inter's strategy is to build its future on promising young talents, a profile that Giovane fits. In his first season since joining Verona in July 2025, Giovane has one goal and three assists in 10 Serie A appearances. The Brazil U23 international has a contract with Verona until June 2029 and a current market value of €4.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
