Nicolo Schira reports that Spezia is searching for a new goalkeeper. The primary target for the position is Davide Merelli of Crotone, but due to high demands from the Calabrian side for Merelli, the Ligurian club is also evaluating Gioele Zacchi. Zacchi is a 23-year-old Italian from Sassuolo who has been capped 7 times for Italy's U21 team. He joined Sassuolo in July 2023 and his current Transfermarkt market value is €600k. Vicenza has also been linked with the player.
