Due to FIFA’s regulations, Mora will have to wait until he turns 18 to be able to move away from Liga MX, however, teams can agree a deal with Tijuana beforehand and wait for the player to become an adult. Mora’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, told TUDN that with €15 million ($17.4 million) she could not even buy one of Gilberto Mora’s legs.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Manchester City are among the main suitors from England for 16-year-old Tijuana midfielder Gilberto Mora, with Arsenal and Chelsea also mentioned as interested parties. The Mexican teenager is also reportedly being monitored by Real Madrid and Barcelona, and a significant transfer is being anticipated for next summer. According to Transfermarkt, the player currently has a market value of €4.50m.
