Sources state that Benfica are one of the most proactive clubs interested in Gilberto Mora. The club has held preliminary talks with Mora's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, in preparation for a possible transfer. According to Marca, Gilberto Mora's contract with Tijuana includes a release clause valued at €25m. The 17-year-old cannot move to Europe until he turns 18 on 14 October. Mora is the youngest player to have scored for Mexico.
