Gijs Smal is a new player for Feyenoord. The Dutch full-back, born in 1997, did not renew his contract with Twente and signed with the vice-champions of Holland. Smal is one of the best left-footed players in the Eredivisie for several years now and will now be able to show his qualities in the Champions League as well.
