Turkish club Çorum, a newly promoted side with the sixth-highest budget in its league, has shown strong interest in signing Greek centre-back Giannis Michailidis, 26, from PAOK. In addition to Çorum, Club Brugge is also a significant suitor, as their coach Ivan Leko has personally recommended acquiring the defender. It is reported that Panathinaikos, from within Greece, is also discreetly monitoring the player's situation. Meanwhile, PAOK, which holds a unilateral option to extend Michailidis's contract, is currently in negotiations with him for a new long-term deal. Michailidis joined PAOK in July 2019, has five caps for Greece, and has a current market value of €4.00m according to Transfermarkt.
