Gianluca Pelzer, a 19-year-old German central defender, is moving on loan from Energie Cottbus to VfB Lübeck in the Regionalliga Nord until the end of the season. Pelzer, who had joined Cottbus at the start of 2026, is intended to gain match practice in the fourth tier. Lübeck's sporting director, Sebastian Harms, commented that the club has signed a very talented and developing central defender who will improve the team both defensively and in their build-up play.
