Gian Marco Crespi leaving Spezia?
Tuttomercato reports on Gian Marco Crespi's request for a transfer from Spezia to secure more playing time. Gian Marco Crespi has requested to be transferred from Spezia to find more playing time. There is a possibility for him to have an experience abroad with Athens Kallithea.
Gian Marco Crespi is currently the third goalkeeper at Spezia, behind Sarr and Mascardi. After returning from a six-month loan at Caldiero Terme in Serie C, where he made 19 appearances, conceded 26 goals, and kept nine clean sheets, Crespi is expected to leave Spezia again. The club Kallithea from Athens, which was recently relegated from the Greek top division but is eager to climb back, has shown interest in Crespi. This would be Crespi's first experience abroad after playing mainly in Serie C and a brief stint in Serie A with Crotone.
Gian Marco Crespi, a goalkeeper born in 2001, has recovered from an injury suffered last season but is currently behind Gori, Sarr, and Mascardi in the club hierarchy. A loan move is being considered to allow him to gain regular playing time, possibly to Serie C or less likely abroad.
