Italian centre-forward Giacomo Corona may move away from Sicily to find more consistent playing time after a season at Palermo where he played 274 minutes across 16 appearances. Unlike the last two transfer windows, the club is now inclined to let the player, who was born in 2004, leave on loan. While many Serie B clubs are reportedly interested, Virtus Entella is the most advanced in negotiations. The Ligurian club had also unsuccessfully attempted to sign him in January. According to Stadionews.it, Virtus Entella is now ready to restart talks to finalize a deal, while Corona evaluates the proposal and destination. His contract with Palermo expires on June 30, 2027, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €450k.
