Gerónimo Spina, a 21-year-old central defender with Argentine and Italian nationality, has joined Jong Ajax from the youth system of Atlético Madrid. The transfer, which had been anticipated, was officially announced on the last day of the transfer period. Spina played 28 matches for Atlético Madrileño and represented Atlético Madrid seven times in the Youth League, where he played against teams including Feyenoord and AZ in the 2023/24 season.
