German Onugkha Transfer from FC Copenhagen to Pogoń Szczecin

Pogoń Szczecin is looking to bring in a new striker to fill the void left by Efthymios Koulouris. The club has made an offer for German Onugkha from Copenhagen, according to Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl. German Onugkha, a 29-year-old forward with Russian roots and a Nigerian passport, joined Copenhagen last summer in a 1.5 million euro deal from Velje BK. He was loaned back to Velje BK in the winter and ended the previous season with thirteen goals and an assist across 28 matches. Onugkha emerged as the top scorer in the Danish league for the 2023/2024 season, netting fifteen goals. Pogoń Szczecin is highly motivated to finalize Onugkha's transfer, driven by the pressing need to replace Koulouris, who is set to join Al-Ula. The situation is anticipated to evolve in the upcoming days as the transfer window draws to a close.
