Voetbalprimeur.nl reports that Gerald Alders will play for Telstar on loan from Ajax again this season, a move that both clubs have announced via their official channels. The 21-year-old right-back, who holds both Dutch and Namibian nationality, also spent the second half of the previous campaign at Telstar after Ajax placed him there in February, making nine official appearances. Telstar's technical director, Peter Hofstede, stated that the collaboration was excellent for both parties and that Alders had demonstrated his value. The new loan is intended to give Alders weekly playing time, as he has not yet featured for Ajax. He has been capped four times for the Netherlands U19 team, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €700k.
