Vagiannidis has 11 caps for Greece, is under contract until June 2030 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €11.00m. In addition to Napoli, Everton, Olympiakos Piraeus, and Panathinaikos have also been linked with the player. Recent reports from May 2026 suggest a bid of around €10 million could be enough for a transfer. He joined Sporting from Panathinaikos in August 2025 for a reported base fee of €12.5 million.
