George Pratt, a 22-year-old English central defender for Blackburn who was born in Bradford, is reportedly being considered for a season-long loan at Bradford City. Following a Carabao Cup match against Burnley, City manager Graham Alexander would not discuss the speculation regarding Pratt. Alexander explained that he does not think it is right to discuss individual names until a deal is finalized, but confirmed the club is attempting to improve its defensive depth. He added that he hopes to have one, or possibly two, new players in the squad before the weekend's match at Plymouth. Pratt joined Blackburn in January 2026 and, according to Transfermarkt, has a current market value of €800k.
