Luton Town are reportedly one of several clubs interested in signing George Johnston. The 27-year-old Scottish defender is available on a free transfer after being released by Bolton Wanderers following their promotion to the Championship. Plymouth Argyle, Bradford City, and Scottish Premiership side Hearts are also interested in signing the left-back. Johnston, who has 10 caps for the Scotland U21 team, joined Bolton in July 2021 and made 43 appearances in League One last season, scoring one goal. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €800k.
