It is reported that Derby County are considering acquiring LASK left-back George Bello. The Rams are one of several clubs in the Championship and Scotland observing the 23-year-old USA international, who also holds Nigerian citizenship, after an impressive season in the Austrian Bundesliga, where his form resulted in his inclusion in the team of mid-season. In 15 league appearances this season, he has scored one goal and provided three assists. Bello, who has been capped 7 times for the United States, joined LASK on a free transfer in 2023 from German side Arminia Bielefeld. He signed a new contract earlier this year, which runs until June 30, 2027, but it is claimed that a bid of £1.5m might be sufficient to persuade the Austrian club to sell. His current market value is €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
