The 19-year-old Ukrainian winger, a graduate of the Metalist academy, currently plays for Montreal in the MLS. A source reported that negotiations between the clubs went through multiple stages, but ultimately, all efforts to complete a transfer were unsuccessful. The source also specified that Yevhen Krasnikov personally blocked the move, being opposed to it. Synchuk signed a deal with Montreal in January 2025 that runs through 2028 and contains an option for an extra year. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is €2.00m, and he has also been connected with Bologna.
