Gédéon Nongo, an 18-year-old defensive midfielder from Congo, has been loaned from Górnik Zabrze to II-league club Stal Stalowa Wola until mid-2027. Nongo, who is considered a significant talent, has six caps for his country's senior team. He officially joined Górnik on June 17th from Congolese clubs CARA Brazzaville and AS Otôho, following initial media reports in April. The initial plan was for him to gain experience in the reserves, but the liquidation of the reserves resulted in the loan. The decision to loan him proceeded despite Górnik Zabrze having their own issues in central midfield. His contract with his parent club, Górnik Zabrze, expires on 30/06/2029.
