Earlier in the transfer window, Brøndby's 21-year-old American goalkeeper Gavin Beavers had opportunities with Norwegian club Haugesund and Finnish side IF Gnistan, but a move was not completed. Brøndby's football director, Julius Ohnesorge, confirmed that the club actively tried to find a new team for the goalkeeper to secure him more playing time. Ohnesorge stated that there was also interest from clubs in Denmark and other Nordic countries, but ultimately no project was considered suitable. The final evaluation was left to Beavers, and the director added that the club is not completely dissatisfied that he is staying due to his positive contributions to the team's environment. Beavers, who has been capped twice by the USA U20 national team, joined the Danish club in January 2025 and has a contract until June 2028, with a current Transfermarkt market value of €400k.
