Galo Capomaggio is leaving Salernitana, according to Tuttomercato. In recent hours, there has been competition for the midfielder from several clubs, including Mantova and Catanzaro in Serie B and Spezia in Serie C.

Galo Capomaggio, Salernitana's 29-year-old Argentine-Italian defensive midfielder, is the subject of interest from Serie B, with both Mantova and Catanzaro exploring a potential transfer. Spezia is also monitoring these developments. This interest has arisen despite the player having previously expressed a desire to remain in Salerno, a situation which influenced the departure of his teammate Giuseppe Carriero. Capomaggio joined Salernitana in July 2025 and his contract runs until June 2028. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €450k.
