Cagliari is evaluating Davide Calabria to strengthen their right side for the upcoming season. In discussions with Panathinaikos, the club that currently owns Calabria's registration, the name of Gabriele Zappa was also mentioned. The Greek club highly regards the 26-year-old Italian full-back, who could be included in the deal as a technical counterpart. Zappa joined Cagliari in July 2021, and his contract is valid until June 30, 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €3.00m, and he has been linked with Napoli and Fiorentina in the past.
