The 19-year-old had drawn interest from around Europe, including from Real Betis; however, the move to Rotherham is considered the best step for his development.

Rotherham are planning to make a loan offer for Manchester United's Welsh forward Gabriele Biancheri before the transfer deadline. The Millers, who already have United youngster Dan Gore on loan, want a versatile forward and believe the 19-year-old fits their needs. Biancheri, who joined the Red Devils from Cardiff in 2023, has registered five goals and three assists in 10 Premier League 2 games this season, after scoring 22 times across under-18 and under-21 competitions last season. The striker has one goal in three caps for the Wales U21 team and has also been linked with Blackburn Rovers.
