Gabriele Biancheri Transfer from Manchester United U21 to Rotherham United
According to an announcement on Manchester United's club website, striker Gabriele Biancheri has joined Rotherham on loan for the rest of the season. Biancheri will spend the coming months at the League One club to gain valuable playing time.
The Sun has reported that United are expected to announce that Under-21 player Gabriele Biancheri is moving to League One Rotherham United on a six-month loan. The 19-year-old had drawn interest from around Europe, including from Real Betis; however, the move to Rotherham is considered the best step for his development.
Rotherham are planning to make a loan offer for Manchester United's Welsh forward Gabriele Biancheri before the transfer deadline. The Millers, who already have United youngster Dan Gore on loan, want a versatile forward and believe the 19-year-old fits their needs. Biancheri, who joined the Red Devils from Cardiff in 2023, has registered five goals and three assists in 10 Premier League 2 games this season, after scoring 22 times across under-18 and under-21 competitions last season. The striker has one goal in three caps for the Wales U21 team and has also been linked with Blackburn Rovers.
